Pyo Wol frowned slightly.

It was because he could hear loud noises from all over the distance.

When he went outside after a long time, he saw that the whole city had been transformed into a construction site.

This was because repairs had begun on the mansions and pavilions that had been destroyed during the fight between Jin Manor and Snow Sword Manor.

It was a sight that reminded him of the saying that destruction must precede creation.

After the war ended, the civilians fled like water, but labourers took their place.

The area was bustling with activity for the first time in a while as the reconstruction of the collapsed mansions and pavilions progressed.

As the deserted streets were restored, people began to move around again. Stalls lined the streets, and countless people came out to engage in economic activity.

As the reconstruction work progressed, the area became even more lively, and the sounds of hammering and people's voices could be heard loudly.

Now, people were accepting Jin Manor as the ruler of the area.

No longer hearing stories about Snow Sword Manor from anywhere was evidence that it had ended with Jin Manor's victory, and no one mentioned Snow Sword Manor anymore.

Pyo Wol walked along the transformed street, feeling the people's mood.

He headed towards a street where workshops gathered. Many weapons had been damaged during the battle, and cracks had formed on the surface. Although they would hold up for a while, they needed to be repaired in advance to be used for a long time.

Pyo Wol didn't know if there were any craftsmen with the same skills as Tang Sochu here, but it was not about making new weapons; it was simply about repairing them. There must have been a good craftsman to entrust the task to.

The sound of hammering had been echoing throughout the workshop street since morning.

After the battle between Snow Sword Manor and Jin Manor, the workshop street was enjoying unprecedented prosperity. The surviving people had entrusted their weapons' repairs to the craftsmen.

In each workshop, weapons entrusted by the people were piled up like a mountain. The craftsmen put the weapons into the furnace to heat them, then hammered and repaired them. Since there were so many weapons to repair, the craftsmen were not taking any more customers.

Pyo Wol carefully examined the weapons displayed on the front counter. One could tell the craftsman's skill even by looking at the condition of the weapons sold on the counter.

Although he had passed over a dozen workshops, Pyo Wol still needed to find one that satisfied him.

Most of them were not up to Pyo Wol's standards who had become accustomed to Tang Sochu's skills.

The only decent workshop was so busy with orders that they couldn't even breathe.

In the end, Pyo Wol gave up on leaving his repairs there.

He didn't know how long he would stay in Yeonnam, but he didn't want to entrust his ghost blade to craftsmen who lacked the skills.

He had no choice but to turn around when he heard their voices.

"Did you just cut in front of me?"

"I was here first. What do you mean to cut in line?"

"I was here first in this workshop."

Two strangers were shouting at each other in front of a corner workshop.

One was a giant with an enormous physique; the other was small but had sharp eyes.

At first glance, the giant seemed to have the upper hand. He was as big as a bear, with huge muscles to match. But the small man didn't back down and was arguing fiercely.

Both of them were strangers to Pyo Wol.

The old craftsman, who seemed to be the owner of the workshop, was the one who suffered the most from their confrontation.

The old craftsman shouted, "Stop making a fuss here and go somewhere else. If you keep this up, I won't open the workshop."

"Shut up, old man."

"Mind your tongue."

Despite the old craftsman's plea, the two strangers ignored him and glared at each other with even fiercer eyes.

 "It's better to retreat now."

"Bullshit!"

"That narrow-minded bastard..."

The first to explode in anger was the giant-bodied fighter.

He swung his fist like the lid of a pot. Then the small-bodied fighter wielded his sword and stood up against him.

Clash!

The collision of the two broke the fragile workshop.

"You damn bastards! Please stop. I'm telling you I won't touch weapons anymore."

The old craftsman pleaded, but the two paid no attention.

The old craftsman was the target of the thugs on this workshop street.

Many craftsmen who do business here learned how to handle iron from the old craftsman. His skills were certain.

But now he was too old and too sick to run the workshop. He just guarded the workshop as a watchman and did no practical work.

However, the two men forced him to sharpen their weapons in the morning for some reason.

The old craftsman, Hong Noya, said he had put down his hammer, but the two didn't listen.

"You damn bastards! Please listen to me."

Hong Noya begged them to stop fighting, but he couldn't do anything to break them up.

"What's going on?"

"Oh my!"

The nearby workshop owners came over, but they had little influence over the two fighters.

A poor workshop owner said to a young martial artist who came as a guest,

"Please stop those guys from fighting."

"Why should I?"

"Please! He's like a master to me. If you stop their fight, I'll repair your tools for free."

"Hey, are you asking me to interfere in their grudge?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, if I get involved in their fight for no reason, I might end up with their grudge. As they say, you shouldn't get involved in other people's fights."

Although the young swordsman had his reasons for refusing, it sounded like a cowardly excuse to the owners of the workshop.

The other owners also refused, unwilling to risk their lives by intervening in the two men's fight.

That's when a woman walked towards the workshop where the two men were fighting.

Step by step, her footfalls echoed through the noise.

The beautiful woman was impressive with a shapely figure, long black hair that fell to her waist, and striking blue eyes.

She had a certain power that drew everyone's attention.

Perhaps it was her beautiful appearance that had enchanted the men.

The woman fearlessly approached the workshop where the men were fighting and said,

"That's enough."

The young swordsman paused momentarily at the woman's calm voice and looked at her.

"Who are you?"

"Get lost, bitch."

The two people looked at the woman with displeased expressions, but she calmly spoke without changing her expression.

"I came here because I have a business to attend to, but I can't go in since you two are acting like this. Please go argue somewhere else and vacate the spot."

"Is this woman crazy?"

"Why would someone like you, who sits down and pees, interfere? Get lost already."

In an instant, the woman's expression turned cold.

"Can you take responsibility for what you just said?"

"Responsibility? Did you say something about responsibility to me, Gwak Dae-yong? Sure, I'll take responsibility for whatever."

"This woman talks too much. Get out of here."

The tall man laughed ominously, and the short man looked at her contemptuously.

Their reactions were different, but one thing was the same.

They were ignoring the woman.

"Finally, I will say this. Both of you, please leave this place."

"This woman..."

"Do you want me to kill you first? Why are you so rude?"

It was at that moment.

Sshhing!

A sharp slashing sound echoed through the street.

"Snap!"

"Ugh!"

The big man Gwak Dae-yong and the dwarf screamed at the same time. Deep scars had suddenly appeared on their shoulders.

Fearful expressions appeared on their faces.

"When did she draw a sword?"

"I didn't even see her swing it!"

Both men boasted of being experts but didn't realize when the woman drew her sword.

If the woman had been determined to kill them, they would have already died.

The wounds on their shoulders were also thanks to the woman's mercy. They would have lost their collarbones if she had cut a little deeper.

Only then did they realize that the woman was an incredible expert, and their faces turned white with fear.

The woman looked at them and said, "Shall we continue?"

"No, no, thank you."

"We have urgent matters to attend to, so we'll leave now..."

They fled without looking back.

The other workshop owners who witnessed the scene were relieved but curious about the woman's identity.

Even the unruly men who had caused trouble earlier could be considered experts, but they were subdued too easily.

Suddenly, the woman looked around. The nearby men all avoided her gaze, looking uneasy.

At that moment, the woman's gaze met with Pyo Wol's.

A flash of recognition flashed in the woman's eyes, and she rushed to Pyo Wol casually.

"Long time no see."

"Yes."

"Do you also have business here?"

"And?"

"They all fell short of my standards."

"Is that so?"

Eom So-so stared through Pyo Wol, but no matter how she looked into his eyes, she couldn't read his thoughts.

"Hmm!"

Eom Soso let out a sigh.

She thought she had overreacted too much.

"If you just came to repair weapons, follow me. Still, Hong Noya is the best here."

"Hong Noya?"

"He owns the blacksmith shop they fought at earlier."

The woman looking at Pyo Wol with a cold gaze was Eom Soso, who had been with Dokgo Hwang.

There was a strong sense of caution towards Pyo Wol in her pupils, which were tinged with blue.

Even when Dokgo Hwang showed kindness to Pyo Wol, she always kept an eye on him. And it is the same now.

She wondered whether meeting Pyo Wol here was a coincidence or an intentional encounter.

Pyo Wol replied, "I was trying to repair my weapon."

"Oh really?"

"He's originally from Henan. He moved here a long time ago and established himself. But his skills are undeniable."

Eom Soso approached Hong Noya, and he greeted her.

"The humble one greets the lady."

"Enough with the formalities. What about my sword?"

"Yes! I repaired it cleanly."

Hong Noya quickly came out carrying a long wooden case. Inside the case was a sword with ancient patterns engraved and its sheath.

Eom Soso handed him the sword she was carrying and received the sword and scabbard from the case in return.

The sword in the case was originally hers. She had borrowed a temporary sword while the blade was being repaired.

A smile appeared on her face as she received her sword. The temporary sword was fine, but her sword, which she had been using for a long time, was the best.

"Thank you. Thanks to you, it's like a new one."

"No, it was my honour to work on your sword, milady!"

Hong Noya replied with a touched expression.

Although he had settled in this faraway place due to circumstances, he had always remembered Henan. That's why he did his best to repair Eom So-so's sword.

Eom Soso pointed to Pyo Wol and said, "If it's okay, please also work on this person's weapon."

"I will do so," Hong Noya replied without hesitation.

Eom Soso said to Pyo Wol, "You should be good to go now

"Thank you!"

"If you're grateful, come to the Four Seas pavilion  in the evening."

 "Four Seas pavilion?"

Dokgo Hwang still seems to have feelings for you. I hope you come and tell him your intentions.'

Tell him my intentions?'

'Yes!'

Eom Soso answered honestly.
